Privacy notice

What we collect

• Host account: your email address and a hash of your password (we never store the password itself).
• Property facts you write for Mia, such as check-in steps, house rules and local tips.
• Guest questions typed or spoken into Mia on the staynzo.online demo, and typed into the widget on a host's own website (text only).
• Guest email addresses, when a guest leaves one so a question can be handed to the host. We store it and use it to email the host's reply, through Resend.
• Cleaner contact details that hosts add.
• Enquiry form details: your name, email, property type, number of properties, city and message.
• Discover listings: when a host publishes on Discover, the listing text and photos they add become public on staynzo.online once Staynzo approves them.
• Applications from the Partner with Staynzo page: name, email, property type, city, number of places, message, and a salted digest of the IP address (never the address itself). We use them to send the invitation link and keep them as a record of who applied.
• Calendar feed links hosts paste in. These are stored encrypted.
• Technical logs, such as errors and request times, used to keep the service running.

Who processes it

We use a small set of providers to run Staynzo:

• Vercel hosts the website and the app.
• Supabase hosts the database, in London.
• OpenAI produces Mia's text and voice answers on the staynzo.online demo, and classifies questions on the host widget.
• Resend sends email, such as handovers to hosts and enquiry notifications.

Guest questions and OpenAI

The Meet Mia demo on staynzo.online: guests can type or speak. The question, and any recording, is sent to OpenAI, which produces Mia's text and voice answers. The demo tells guests not to share personal or payment details.

The widget on a host's own website: text only, no voice. OpenAI only classifies the guest's question so Mia can pick the right host-written fact. Every word the guest reads is either the host's own fact or a fixed Staynzo sentence. When Mia cannot answer, the guest may leave an email address so the host can reply.

Mia on a Discover listing page on staynzo.online works the same way as the widget on a host's own website.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while the host account exists. If you ask us to delete it, we delete it.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Email care@staynzo.online and we will reply.

Cookies

We use a session cookie only for signed-in hosts, so you stay signed in. There are no advertising trackers.

Children

Staynzo is not for anyone under 18.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice we will update the date above, and tell pilot hosts by email if the change matters.
